Chinchy With The Ketchup!

Here is a little exercise… Think of every single person that you have ever shared a meal with… Informal food. Fast food, specifically. Of all those people, how many consumed “french fries” without ketchup? Okay, so you met a person in 1988 that did not like the ketchup condiment with “french fries”… But come on… If your soul is dilapidated enough to visit a fast food joint, then you are going to want to have some ketchup with those damned fries.

Apparently Wendy’s does not know this… And, granted, I usually do not eat “fast food,” specifically because it takes too long (if that makes sense)…

So, anyway, I pull up to the radio thingy and order a Spicy Chicken Combo. I pull up to the first window and pay $6.55. I pull up to the second window, get my food and drive away.

When I get back to my office I find that there is not even one goddamned package of ketchup in the bag. Of course, being the bitchy and whiney bastard that I am, I complain about this to a coworker, and she explains to me that Wendy’s does not automatically give condiments to customers unless the customers specifically requests said condiments.

Not even ONE package of Ketchup? Surely they don’t cost over 20 freaking cents each, right? WTF? Why no ketchup?

I look at it like this, my dear friends at Wendy’s, No Ketchup, No Brad!

I’d say I eat my fries sans the red stuff about 75% of the time.

It really depends upon two things:

First, some fries are great sans ketchup.

Second, some fries are better without ketchup, depending upon the ketchup.

If the fries are good, I’ll eat most of them, thought definitely not all, without ketchup
