It is an awesome chapter. I personally do not remember reading it as a child… Maybe I was not as cognizant of what it is saying…

However, when I read this chapter to my child this past winter… I sat there… Captivated and moved by the what all is elluded to in such brief words…

If you do not mind me asking, what brought it to your mind? What brought the memory of it to your mind… To make you search for it?

I remember this chapter fondly – I was in 6th grade at the time and it was employed as an introduction to a chapter in our “religion” course work to introduce the topic of death and life’s passages. Though very simple and brief it touches on all of the aspects many encounter during this transition. I have always remembered it …
